Windows 11 has managed to get the attention of many people, both for better and for worse. Now we see how it will not only have a renewed design in Microsoft Office, which is about time, but it will also come to Microsoft Edge. As is often the case, this information comes from Leo Varela that detects all the news that comes to Microsoft Edge.
A new option would offer visual improvements in Edge within Windows 11
The new feature is displayed through a flag inside edge: // flags as internal test element inside Microsoft Edge Canary. At the moment, this change can be applied in both Windows 10 and Windows 11 and only offers a change in font style and size and little else.
The change, which is very subtle, we can see in this image of Leo Varela himself where they are shown the menus and the subtle difference between them. In addition, when moving in the menus the area marked with the mouse will be shown with a rounded edge finish compared to a straight cut.
Of course also this change may be accentuated in future versions of Microsoft Edge Canary offering some more substantial changes. We have not been able to test it in Windows 11 since this option does not appear, therefore it seems to be a test for certain users. The Microsoft Edge team is probably working to graphically improve the browser in Windows 11.
