Xiao Ai, or Mi Ai as she is known outside of China, is a well-known voice assistant. But not just any one: neither Alexa, nor Siri nor even the ubiquitous Google Assistant have the amount of associated services equivalent to Mi Ai in China. And the latest innovation has been to incorporate a functionality to be able to record work entry and exit times.
The news has been spread by MyDrivers and, in short, now incorporates synchronization with Dingding and Enterprise WeChat, two of the most common systems for business registration.
Mi Ai, Xiaomi’s vitaminized assistant
Just by saying “business WeChat sign up” or “Dingding sign up”, Mi Ai will recognize the command and create a notification to keep track of check-in and check-out times. The lifelong signing, but hands-free, without cards.
This is a functionality that could already be done through third-party apps. But as has happened to request a taxi or to carry out the general monitoring of public transport, My Ai has just integrated it and it is no longer necessary to exit MIUI.
A pity that this app is only compatible with the Chinese ROM – the app itself is entirely in Chinese, as can be seen in the upper screenshot – since it is a very complete service. My Ai ranges from the offer of tickets to museums, within a section similar to Google Arts & Culture even certain operations with Windows such as sending a file, mirroring the screen or opening apps.
