To do this, he explained, they will reinforce the National Animal Health Emergency Device (Dinesa) implemented on June 3, so now farms must register as Poultry Production Units (UPA) and hire an authorized veterinarianwho is required to take a course and pass an exam.
In addition, the production units must process an official certificate of compliance with the United States-Mexico Commission for the Prevention of Foot-and-Mouth Disease and Other Exotic Animal Diseases (CPA) of the National Service for Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality (Senasica). of the minimum biosafety measures (MMB).
- Farms that are located in a disease-free zone and that comply with the MMB certificate, may move live animals through the Poultry Mobilization Notice (AMA).
- Regarding broiler farms located in areas of low prevalence with proof of MMB, they may only move to other states with the same status and negative laboratory results.
Fertilizers will also be tested
Regarding the mobilization of excreta for use as fertilizers, Roberto Navarro López, director of the Senasica CPA, pointed out that the so-called chicken manure and chicken manure must be subjected to a thermal treatment of 56 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes, a procedure that must also be certified by authorized veterinarian.
