We know that water can be converted into air through the process of evaporation, but whether air becomes water is still being studied by the scientific community. Nevertheless, a Mexican engineer created a prototype robot that can do it.
The robotics expert Vita Gabriela Galindo is an engineer who developed this robot in Nuevo León, which can generate water on its own through air condensationAccording to the report on the website of Millennium.
Galindo explained that this process would be able to produce 35 liters of drinking water in a single day. The expert has defined her proposal as a “grain of sand”, in the midst of the water crisis that exists in the aforementioned state of Mexico.
The robotics engineer added: “The creation of this robot arises from the problems that the state is going through, it took me a month and a half to make the robot”.
A prototype based on other robots
Vita Gabriela Galindo explained that this prototype of a robot that converts air into water emerged after having built three other machines previously.
Regarding the characteristics of this robot, he explained that the robot has integrated filtersbut still It does not have the certification of the potability of the water.
“I am looking for a laboratory to do an exam to certify that the water is drinkable. It doesn’t solve the problem, but it can help”, he indicated.
The young engineer commented that what motivated her to create this robot was to help her parents and grandparents in the face of the drought in Nuevo León: “I want to help more people, I don’t have the resources to replicate it and take it to all families”.
For now, the private companies of the Mexican state have not contacted Galindo about the project, but he assures that your prototype can be built on a larger scale.
“I am open to any opportunity. The cost has not been defined, since as it is a prototype it is trial and error, a friend lent me money to be able to do it”, he highlighted.
