Mercedes has just announced a system that we were aware of, and that we are telling you about. An important novelty that was planned for the new generation of the S-Class that is already on sale, but that the star’s firm decided to rethink and offer it in a more exclusive model, the new luxury electric that will be presented in the coming months: the Mercedes EQS.
Known as ‘ Hyperscreen MBUX ‘, it will take front seat passengers to a new level of interaction with entertainment platforms, comfort and vehicle functions and settings, with a new screen that will fill the entire cross-section of the dashboard following the curvature of the entire piece, an enveloping configuration that will have continuity with the door panels.
The new MBUX Hyperscreen concept leaves the new 2021 S-Class interior design to nothingThe future Mercedes EQS, the electric saloon, will debut a large curved screen that will occupy the dashboard
A technology so exclusive that we will see at CES 2021, and that will be one of the most sumptuous options on the EQS equipment list. The new display screen is actually different screens one after the other, so each one can offer specific information, but disguised as a very large piece, thanks to a large continuous glass.
With tactile sections so that the passenger can access settings or information, entertainment, connectivity or comfort functions, the system will also have advanced gesture and voice control with natural voice commands, thanks to a more mature artificial intelligence with a higher level of learning. A superb system that will even allow the system’s own brain to adapt different configurations, instead of the passengers.
For now, the new equipment will be mounted on future electric models of Mercedes EQ, shelving the current distribution of screens, 12.3 inches for the instrument panel and the new 12.8 inches that occupies the center console of the new Mercedes S-Class and that we will also see in the C-Class, an advanced system of which we will have all the details on January 7, 2021 in the most digital edition of the Las Vegas electronics fair.
