The e-commerce company Mercado Libre deepens its commercial relationship with The Walt Disney Company and its streaming services. The alliance includes the launch of an international promotion that includes benefits in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
Specifically, from this August 31, Mercado Libre users with level 6, the highest with which they can rank in the loyalty system that buyers participate in the platform, can access Disney + content for free (Disney Plus ) and Star + (Star Plus, ex Fox Premium).
In addition, the launch includes discounts for customers of levels 1 to 5 of the loyalty program. In these cases, the discounts depend on the level.
With this new promotion, which includes Star + (which is launched this Tuesday, August 31), Mercado Libre advances in its plan to offer benefits linked to videostreaming services. In fact, it already has agreements with Disney Plus, HBOMax (Warner Media) and Paramount + (ViacomCBS).
It even launched a promotion last month giving away Disney + subscriptions at no cost to Level 6 customers in Mexico.
The novelty is that now it has added Star + for users in this country and, in addition, it has added Argentina and Brazil. Mercado Libre knows that there is great business in streaming and does not want to be left out. In fact, he sees it as a great opportunity to build customer loyalty and add relevance.

The link with Star +, owned by The Walt Disney Company, occurs within hours of the launch of the streaming through which you can see the entire package of Fox movies, series and comedies, as well as original productions from Latin America, as well as ESPN’s live sports videostreaming service.
Disney’s goal is for Star + to represent a complementary service to Disney + and consolidate The Walt Disney Company’s presence in the Latin American streaming market.
The plan is also to include content from channels such as ABC, FX, Freeform and from Searchlight and 20th Century Studios (formerly 20th Century Fox).
