Last September 2021 it was announced in style that Insomniac Games was the best PlayStation studiosince, far from making a single project and after having released Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Ratchet & Clank: a separate dimension in less than 1 year, it was possible to see how the studio was developing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and a Wolverine/Wolverine video gamewhich, as you can imagine, is called Marvel’s Wolverine.
It must be said that since then it is not that we have had too much news about this title, since, beyond the teaser that we could see, the video game is shrouded in mystery, this being something quite logical if we take into account that It must still be in an early stage of its development.. However, it seems that there is already movement.
It has recently been learned that Walt Williams, who was the screenwriter for Spec Ops: The Line and Star Wars: Battlefront II, has joined the Marvel’s Wolverine project in style, as he has announced on his social networks that he is now the narrative director of the game.
In this way, the role of Williams will consist of helping to tell the story of the title through all the elements that are possible, as has been known through GamesIndustry.biz.

Also, regarding the title, it must be said that it is expected that be more violent than what we’ve seen in Marvel’s Spider-man, since, after all, Logan’s character is not characterized by being a saint. On the other hand, it must be said that it is the character’s first video game since X-Men Origins: Wolverinethis being a title that, unlike the film, enjoyed very good quality.
For the rest, it only remains to remember that Marvel’s Wolverine will launch exclusively on PlayStation 5, being at the moment a complete mystery what its release date will be. Of course, unless there is a delay, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released in 2023.
