A few weeks ago, Marvel’s avengers introduced new types of microtransactions that allowed you to level up much faster in exchange for real money. As expected, users did not respond well to this decision, which is why its developers decided to back down.
Through a statement published on social networks, it was revealed that Marvel’s avengers will no longer sell or Hero’s Catalysts or Fragment Extractors:
“We apologize for not being able to respond sooner to your concerns about the incorporation of consumables in the store. We didn’t see it as pay-to-win because it didn’t offer power directly.
“We hope this can be the first step in rebuilding your trust in us as a team.”
We have decided that by the end of today we will remove Hero’s Catalysts and Fragment Extractors for purchase. pic.twitter.com/8am9nSstP2

So there you have it, these types of consumables will completely disappear from the marketplace official of Marvel’s Avengers, and those who want to level up will now have to play the game. Who could have said it?
Editor’s note: Well, they took their time, but it seems that the authors of the game finally began to listen to the players. I just hope that in the future they will not implement any other controversial mechanics, as I believe that Marvel’s Avengers is on the right track for its redemption.
