A little less than a month ago we shared with you news according to which, after its arrival on Xbox Game Pass, Marvel’s Avengers had introduced microtransactions aimed at substantially increasing the amount of experience gained by players. This would not be particularly noteworthy news on its own, since there is similar content in other titles, but in this case this happened after the experience obtained by the players was reduced shortly before and following a promise from the developers that microtransactions would not be introduced that were not purely aesthetic.
Today, after continued criticism from fans, Marvel’s Avengers backs down on plans to introduce paid experience boosters.

As you can see in the previous tweet, developers have commented through the account of Twitter official of the title that the aforementioned microtransactions will be removed from the game store, and can only be obtained by methods that do not involve the payment of real money. They also comment that this is a first step to regain the trust of the fans, however, in the first paragraph of the statement they defend that these microtransactions did not offer any real advantage or were a “pay to win”, thus rejecting the criticism received.
