Would the Russo brothers return to Avengers: Secret Wars?
Another detail contained in the ScreenGeek report is the possibility of the return of brothers Joe and Anthony Russo as directors of these three new installments of the Avengers.
Since the end of Avengers: Endgame, the filmmakers have been away from Marvel Studios and are focused on projects with their company AGBO, which produces tapes for digital platforms.
Similarly, thanks to Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the version of Secret Wars that would be adapted is the one that Marvel published in 2015, which was written by Jonathan Hickman, where the Marvel Universe and the Ultimate Universe battle for their survival.
In this story, groups such as the X-Men and the Fantastic Four take center stage, two franchises that at one point will be integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Fantastic Four will arrive no earlier than fall 2023, under the direction of Jon Watts.
