juggernaut, known as Leviathan in Latin America, is one of the most imposing villains of Marvel. Cain Marko’s alter ego, a human beast of 3.05 meters and 1.1 tons of weight, has even the ability to destroy infinity gems, as long as it is shown in its most powerful form.
Created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Alex Toth, with his first appearance in X-Men #12 (1965), Juggernaut is the stepbrother of Professor Charles Xavier. Son of atomic researcher Kurt Marko and Marjorie Marko, his mother died when he was 3 years old; Kurt married Sharon Xavier, widow of Brian Xavier, another atomic technology expert.
Thus, Cain and Charles became brothers. But while the mild-mannered Charles grew up with a love of reading and intelligence, Cain was a bully with great physical power.
A gem, the so-called brilliant ruby of Cyttorak, gave him uncommon strength. Then he would add his classic helmet, with which he prevented his stepbrother Charles Xavier from controlling him mentally.
Juggernaut against the Infinity Stones: the theory based on two Marvel comics
ScreenRant remember that in X Men #88, by Alan Davis, Joe Casey, Mark Farmer, Marie Javins, Richard Starkings and Wes Abbott, Juggernaut managed to rip a hole in reality, traversing space-time.
The theory states that in New Avengers #3, by Jonathan Hickman, Steve Epting, Frank D’Armata and Joe Caramagna, the villain could hypothetically destroy the gems with the power achieved by opening a hole in reality.
Let us remember that the six gems, well known to all for their prominence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, are those of the Mind, Reality, Power, Space, Time and Soul.
“With the Infinity Stones shattering into other dimensions,” explains Screen Rant, “It is beyond question that the Juggernaut could use his most powerful form to rip a hole in reality, place the gems in a new world and destroy them.”
