The anecdote is part of a study entitled PEW Great Resignation Topline where it was revealed what motivates employees to quit.
Publicizing stories of entrepreneurship or talent management in networks has come up with important cases, to understand how it works.
A marketer showed in networks his resignation to Televisa after 10 years working in that company and the reason is an interesting case of how talents are making decisions today in the job market.
Today, studies as PEW Great Resignation Topline found that a 37 percent majority of employees surveyed believed that the main reason for quitting was that the pay was too low. 35 percent did it because they did not feel valued and 33 percent because they did not find opportunities for growth.
“According to survey data collected in February 2022, low pay was the number one reason for quitting a job in 2021. Lack of opportunities for advancement and not feeling at work were also cited as reasons for quitting. In addition, challenges related to childcare were commonly indicated,” he explained. Marketer says goodbye to Televisa
Danny Torres (@danytorresmiau, TikTok) will take a trip for which he always saved and was never able to take, to later find work. This is the judgment of the tiktoker which documented his farewell to Televisa after ten years working for the company.

The experience adds more than a million views on the social network and is an emotional video, the marketer gives her reasons for resigning from the company, while walking through the corridors of the television station, showing the day-to-day life in that place.
One of the key arguments in Torres’s decision is that during the health contingency he had an internal dialogue where he questioned what he was doing with his life and a new criterion was proposed to rethink the priorities in his life.
“Although I’m scared to death because I haven’t looked for a job in 10 years, I’m also very excited to discover what’s out there for me,” he explains in his video.
In a second video, he explains how he got a job at the television station with a very simple logic, because he recognized that “when you knock on doors, some will have to open,” remembering that while he was in the seventh semester of his marketing degree he had the audacity of going to knock on the entrance door of the media company, where the security guard allowed her to go to reception and the managers contacted her with the human resources area where she obtained the requirements to make the social service agreement, in who was eventually accepted to work in the advertising area.
This story of a marketer in which she narrates why she resigned from Televisa after a 10-year career in the company is an antecedent of how to manage talent in the labor market and under what criteria professionals and employees make decisions, whether as employees or entrepreneurs.

We saw this when Mr Zap (@mrzapart, TikTok) made a video where he showed what he said have been his attempts at failed ventures. The young man began by recounting that he began by selling art, but it was difficult for the project to find clients who valued his work, he tried selling painted t-shirts, then he went on to design swimsuits, later he made up shirts with creative prints.
Showing how a professional resigns from Televisa or how an entrepreneur narrates his failed business attempts are cases that help us understand the potential that exists in talent management and how it can be triggered in decision-making. For the Televisa marketer, her decision meant being unemployed. To the entrepreneur, her various business decisions, many of these have ended in failure in sales.
