The migration towards USA and the fight against criminal organizations are two of the main issues that the Secretary of State will address, Anthony Blinkenin a meeting with the Mexican foreign minister, Marcelo Ebrardin Washington this Thursday.
Ebrard will travel to Washington together with the Mexican Secretary of Security, Rosa Icela Rodriguezto continue the High Level Dialogue (DEAN) between both countriesState Department spokesman Ned Price said Wednesday.

In addition to a bilateral meeting with Blinken, the Mexican foreign minister will also hold a meeting with the US attorney general, Merrick Garland, the secretary of National Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, and other US government officials.
The spokesman assured that the US seeks to work with Mexico to protect citizens from “criminal organizations” and prosecute those involved in them.
Price stressed that “the challenge” of migratory flows in the region will also be a topic to be addressed during the high-level meetings.
Ebrard’s visit to Washington comes a month after Blinken’s last visit to Mexico, where he also met with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
