Manthey Racing has done it again, elevating the Porsche 911 GT3 to the true Olympus of sports cars by breaking a new record on the north track of the Nürburgring circuit, thanks to a package specially developed for this version of the sports car, which exceeds its best time in more than four seconds.
A year and a half ago the new generation of Porsche 911 GT3 was presented, and did so with an impressive record under his belt. The best purchase argument for the most demanding customers, becoming a true devourer of the curves that populate the 20.8 kilometers of the northern layout of the Nürburgring circuit. The package has different components, aerodynamics such as the new spoiler featuring on the front lip, as well as special deflectors at the ends of the front bumper that increase the aerodynamic load at high speed on this axis. Also, the rear spoiler with the usual gooseneck wing is wider and has a larger surface area also with this objective of increasing the load, at the same time that the lateral fins of this spoiler have been made larger and made of carbon fiber, also retouching the channels of the diffuser.
The special kit also has some 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged alloy wheels that are offered as an option and that reduce the unsprung masses by 7.5 kilograms. For those who are not so demanding, there are some aero discs for the standard rear wheels made of CFRP. The package also features new springs and adjustable shock absorbers for circuits, as well as special brake pads for high performance typical of competition.
A set that is not cheap at all, since you have to pay an extra 37,911 Euros and although it can already be ordered, it will be delivered in the fall.
