Maluma has just made his debut in the world of acting with a dubbing in the Disney hit Charm and in the romantic comedy Marry mewhere he shared the scene with Owen Wilson and Jennifer López.
Apparently, the successful musician really enjoyed this little taste of Hollywood, to the extent that he said he wants to continue acting and goes with everything to conquer the world of cinema.
“My dream is to get into Hollywood”
Due to the premiere of Marry me, Maluma has been super busy in promotional events, such as press conferences and interviews. In a recent conversation he had with the news outlet EFE, the musician – and now an actor – talked about his experience of being in front of the cameras in a completely different way.
Maluma said that, obviously, it is very different and there were very intimidating moments, especially because he worked with well-known actors, but he is delighted and even hopes to be able to fully focus on this facet of the world of entertainment.
My dream is to get into Hollywood hard, it’s the right time.
“I would like to be Batman or, I don’t know, James Bond”
The artist even already has certain iconic characters in his sights, and boy are they interesting proposals! In addition, Maluma said that he would like to break certain barriers that still exist for Latino representation in Hollywood.
I would like to break stereotypes and be the first Latino Batman or, I don’t know, James Bond. I could take my career to another level and represent our culture.
How are you! Although the option of Batman could be a bit far away, since Robert Pattinson’s first film in the suit of the famous superhero is just going to come out, and it seems that it will be a success, the truth is that the new James is being sought Bond after the premiere of No Time To Diea movie in which Daniel Craig said goodbye to the iconic 007 agent.
Maluma commented that he is very determined with his goals and there is no doubt that he managed to reach every corner of the planet with his music, so we would not be surprised if he goes very far in his acting career.
