Three decades after the premiere of Batman Returns, the actress and singer Madonna has confessed that she regrets for turning down the role of Catwoman, which Michelle Pfeiffer played in an unforgettable way. This is what Madonna confessed in her recent presentation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Madonna’s statement came in a round of questions about myths and truths of the singer’s career, when Fallon asks her if it is true that she rejected the role of Catwoman in Batman Returns in addition to the main role in the film Showgirls. The singer replied: “I have seen both [películas], and I regret turning down Catwoman. That was pretty fierce. Showgirls, no ”. He then also mentions that he turned down a lead role in The Matrix.

After its premiere in 1992, Batman Returns cleared up all the doubts that there may have been about Michelle Pfeiffer, delivering one of the most remembered Catwoman.
