A video of macOS Catalina running on a 2020 iPad Pro was shared on YouTube, giving us a glimpse of an interesting hack that brings the Mac experience to a touchscreen.

There is limited information regarding the process that installed macOS Catalina on an iPad Pro, but be aware that the hack uses x86 emulation and was performed through UTM software that allows virtual machines to run on iOS.
It took a full 20 minutes for the macOS Catalina operating system to boot, although the creator of the video says it has since been optimized and now takes about 5 minutes. The video is over 37 minutes long due to the slowness of macOS Catalina on the iPad, so it’s not a working or anyway usable install at the moment, but it’s interesting to see the macOS operating system on an iPad. We would rather imagine MacOS 11 Big Sur which shares the ARM architecture…
If many customers expect an Apple computer with a touch screen, remember that its managers like Craig Federighi have always refused to offer such a product.
