- Hospitales MAC announced the acquisition of Hospitales H+ with locations in Los Cabos and Querétaro.

The field of health is essential for any country and although many times attention is only paid to the public sector, in reality the private counterpart is also important. The more spaces available, the better for patients because they will have more options. With this in mind, the chain MAC hospitals achieved a historic achievement that shows its accelerated growth.
Today the company announced that it has acquired the operations of the H+ Hospitals in Los Cabos and Querétaro. In this way it now became the second chain with the largest number of private hospitals in Mexico.
“We have a great opportunity in front of us and a common approach between the leadership teams of both organizations to continue growing,” said Miguel Isaac Khoury Siman, CEO and founder of Hospitales MAC.
From Celaya to the rest of the country
As part of this unprecedented increase, he recalled that the first MAC Hospital was opened in the country more than 14 years ago. The original idea was improve the quality of medical-hospital services in Celaya but soon it was observed that there were other cities that needed the same.
Instead, it now has 16 hospitals in operation and 5 soon to be inaugurated. It is a figure that very few can boast and with which it is placed at the vanguard in Mexico.
“There are still many cities and patients who need us and we will soon reach them by offering them the high-quality services that characterize us.”
Oh well, the 16 units of MAC Hospitals that are in operation are located in the following locations:
- North Aguascalientes.
- South Aguascalientes.
- Celaya.
- Mexico City (South Peripheral).
- State of Mexico (Tlalnepantla).
- Guadalajara.
- Irapuato.
- Los Cabos.
- The Mochis.
- Merida.
- Mexicali.
- Puebla.
- Queretaro.
- San Miguel de Allende.
- Tampico.
- Veracruz (Boca del Rio).
While the other five that are scheduled to open during the remainder of this 2022 are the following:
- Guanajuato (capital).
- Lion.
- La Viga (CDMX).
- Cuemanco (CDMX).
- Ecatepec.
MAC Hospitals began this 2022 with 2,697 employees. While today there are already 3,449 and it is expected to close the year with more than 4,000. In this way, the expansion not only benefits patients but also health professionals because each new opening creates vacancies.
