An important and shocking detail about the history of Thor: Love and Thunder has come to light. And it could affect the entire MCU!
Entertainment Earth listed an officially licensed ceramic mug from Thor: Love and Thunder that could save interesting details. The ad is directly related to New Asgard, the new location of the Asgardian realm. In the cup we see Viking and Nordic elements, and it shares some elements that the new location of Marvel Studios could offer to human tourists.
Does this mean that it could work this way from now on? Will we see tourists in New Asgard in Thor: Love and Thunder? Included in the mug images we mentioned is a large postcard with advertisements for “New Asgard Hammers” (with the hammer Mjölnir as a flag) and “New Asgard Tours” (with the incredible appearance of the goats of the God of Thunder in the comics). We show it to you!
New Asgard and Earth, united under the same flag
During the beginning of Avengers: Endgame, we saw how New Asgard was forming little by little. To a large extent, this place arose somewhat out of the Asgardian people’s need for survival. Most of the population died at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Now in Thor: Love and ThunderIt looks like New Asgard will keep the Asgardian legacy alive and rebuild. And it seems that this town wants to open up to humans, to make themselves more friendly in our eyes. That is the great and shocking detail that has been revealed by the merchandising of the film of Taika Waititi!
The leaked photos of the filming of Thor: Love and Thunder that we saw last year revealed that New Asgard will be used as a kind of tourist attraction. This means that there will be attractions as if it were a theme park next to the houses of the Asgardians. While it’s a mystery if these mugs will actually make it to the big screen… All indications are that New Asgard will go as far as possible to be accepted by their new neighbors on Earth. We are delighted to welcome you here.
