To get an answer, Allianz Partners carried out a study to identify the most common health habits among the population of our country. It stands out that in the first place is exercising regularly given that 62% of the population claims to have this routine.
For their part, in second and third place are the habits of getting enough sleep and taking care of personal hygiene, with 59% and 46%, respectively, of the Mexican population adhering to these practices.

In this sense, other measures that people in Mexico take to ensure their health are following a balanced diet (45%); take supplements and vitamins (43%); spending time with family and friends as a way to eliminate stress (40%); and avoid processed foods (33%).
The least followed health habits
In contrast, among the habits least adopted by Mexicans to care for their well-being are performing treatments such as spas, retreats or detox; use alternative medicines; eat organic foods; employ technological applications or devices to measure vital signs or physical conditions; limit screen time; keep a calorie count; and/or weigh yourself regularly. All these practices are only applied by less than 20% of those surveyed.
This information results from an analysis that was carried out with data provided by Foresight Factory, a research company focused on studying market trends and consumer profiles that works in alliance with Allianz Partners. To do this, a survey was conducted among 811 Mexicans between 16 and 64 years old last March.
Most do not see a doctor regularly
For its part, it is also interesting that only 3 out of 10 Mexicans indicated that they regularly visit the doctor and/or dentist as a preventive measure or to monitor their health status.
