One of the recurring complaints from Cyberpunk 2077 players since its release is that, for a futuristic mega-city, Night City felt emptier than it should. Problem solved by a new mod that increases NPC density and traffic of the CD Projekt game, while increase draw distance. Now Night City really looks like a city of the future and not a pretty half-baked setting.
Like other mods we picked up earlier that increase Cyberpunk 2077’s draw distance, this mod called “Improved Traffic_NPCs Draw Distance and Density” allows see more NPCs and cars on the streets of Night City, you can download it via Nexus Mods. Both in number and distance, since the original game greatly limits the viewing distance of these elements so as not to overload performance and experience FPS drops, which happens in this demo that you can see below.
Compared to the original CD Projekt RED game, the difference is dramatic both in the number and distance of NPCs and car through the streets of Night City, although performance is seriously impaired. We will see if this is one of those aspects to improve in the new version of the new generation of Cyberpunk that the Polish studio prepares for the first quarter of 2022.
For the moment does not have a release date, although it should be ready for the next few weeks, according to the latest indications. What the development team has advanced is that there is nothing true in the leaks of the alleged Samurai Edition of Cyberpunk 2077, which was practically a relaunch of the game with countless changes.
The Witcher 3 will receive new content along with the next generation update
