The stores will never cease to amaze us where, if we look closely, we can find versions low cost of luxury designs. Because we may be more or less accustomed to the “clones” of Inditex, as also happens to us with Mango, but if they tell us that we were going to find a Dior clone at Lidl surely we would find it hard to believe.
However -and surprisingly- it is true: we have found a clone of Dior in Lidl. Specifically the version in skirt of a dress that triumphed among celebrities like Bella Hadid or Chiara Ferragni, but that we fell in love with Olivia Palermo.
Because if something knows how to make one of our it girls favorite is to give her personal touch to everything she wears. And in this dress she did it once again, putting on a t-shirt and turning it into skirt:
It is precisely in the skirt version that we have found this Dior piece at Lidl. In a model of gauze (with a finish very similar to tulle) in black with a much cheaper price, 9.99 euros:
Although we have obviously looked at the model in black also available with a flower print. A more colorful option with which to brighten up our wardrobe that has the same price, 9.99 euros.
How to combine it?
At the time, Olivia Palermo combined it with a white t-shirt with a message and a white blazer (in addition to a chokers, a must at that time which is also returning in recent years). A look simple but successful, ideal for an informal event or a meal with friends:
We today could perfectly recreate this look. Although, for example, if we wanted to wear it on a winter day, we would bet on a knitted sweater, a cloth coat and heeled ankle boots. Or, if we wanted to give it a more “rebellious” vibe, with a leather jacket and a tighter top.
After all, it is a black skirt, which opens a very wide range of possibilities and it allows us to play a lot with the style we want to give it. Being able to get from a more rebellious roll to a much more formal one depending on the moment.
