LG Display presented the Thin Actuator Sound Solutionalmost invisible panel format speakers with high quality sound for cars, that would replace conventional sound equipment and the space they occupy in vehicles.
The South Korean company detailed that it used a film-type vibration generator that can use screen panels or various materials from the car interior as vibrators to emit sound.
According to the report published on the website of computer todaythese speakers measure 150mm × 90mm and weigh 40 grams. It is 2.5mm thick, equivalent to 10 percent less compared to conventional car speakers and 30% less weight.
The Thin Actuator Sound Solution drastically reduce the footprint of conventional vehicle speakers.
3D sound
One of the advantages offered by these modern car speakers is that, with their sizecan be installed anywhere and, as if that were not enough, they offer a “rich and immersive 3D sound experience”.
To install them, the new LG device works through a built-in system. That is, the owner of the vehicle can put them wherever he wants.
