Living according to our own standards can build us, but it can also have the opposite effect if we base ourselves on standards imposed by an individual who determines his expectations as a result of his personal ideas and experiences.
One of the most interesting things in life is knowing and learning from each human being, since each one of us occupies a completely different universe. We are individuals with unique characteristics. We are authentic, so we should not limit ourselves, but to continue developing our own ideas, experiences and expectations. There is only one person like you; therefore, only you can measure, qualify and value yourself.
The good news? We can create our own role model, our own standards. The bad? We must invest time in getting to know each other, accepting each other, admiring and respecting each other; that is, in loving each other. There are no secrets or manuals to learn it.
I continue to learn every day about self-love, a task that is not easy. It is about working every day on patience and kindness with oneself. In the end, it all comes down to striving to be the best version of ourselves in order to work our heart, body and mind and live in peace with the people we are.
