The top leaders of the so-called Group of Seven, meeting this Friday, May 19, in Hiroshima, Japan, said they were aware of the problems arising from the lack of control of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and decided to create organizations to deal with the issue.
The leaders agreed that ministers from different areas of different countries will discuss technology such as the “Hiroshima AI Process”, reports Reuters.
They will do so from now until the end of the year and in December 2023 they will report on the results.
The decision was made in the first session of the G7 of this meeting, which was a working lunch between the leaders of Japan, the United States, Canada, Germany, France, the UK and Italy, at the Grand Prince Hotel, located in the Ujina Island, 5 kilometers from the center of Hiroshima.
