Letter soup is a dish for children in Mexico that is also used in a didactic way in schools to learn their first words. By changing the design to sign language, children and adults were invited to learn new words in sign language, while raising awareness for a community facing difficulties in communicating with others and carrying out daily activities.
This special edition was not for sale and was only sent to schools. The entire project had a budget of just $5,000.
