While the Spider-Man trilogy produced by Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios featured major antagonists, one villain who was always present among the writers was Kraven the Hunter.
Since 2016, with his debut in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man began to steal spotlights within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where he starred in a trilogy, in which the figure of Kraven the Hunter was present as the villain.

In an interview with The Wrap, the writers of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, revealed that in the three films of the wall-crawler produced by Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios the first villain in which it was thought was Kraven, but Due to different circumstances, their presence was ruled out.
“I don’t think there was a draft of any of the Spider-Man movies where Kraven the Hunter wasn’t the villainErik Sommers mentioned.
While Chris McKenna stated that in Spider-Man: No Way Home the villain was going to be Kraven, but the one who made them change their minds was Kevin Feige, who suggested introducing the sinister five in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
“We came up with different stories … so we inevitably said, ‘Well, what if Kraven, what if other villains?’ We were spinning around a lot of different ideas… (Kevin Feige’s suggestion) it just blew it all away.”.
However, the Russian aristocrat will debut in a solo film with Kraven the Hunter, a film that will be directed by JC Chandor, while screenwriter Richard Wenk, who was in charge of making the plot of The Equalizer 2, will be the scriptwriter of the first. Spider-Man enemy solo tape.
