eFootball has been with us for a very short time and has already become one of the most disastrous launches in memory, becoming worst rated game on Steam. Konami wanted to offer a “revolution” in its free to play proposal (spiritual successor to PES), but what users have found is a title with various playable and visual errors that have forced those responsible to apologize a few hours after its launch, since the title is available from yesterday day September 30th.
To tell the truth, the thing has not stopped there and already, Konami has also promised, through a statement in the eFootball’s official Twitter account, a patch in October to fix the problems your soccer simulator presents. The intention of the company was to release an update with varied content in November, but after all the criticism received, and its consequences, they have been forced to solve this situation.

«After the launch of eFootball 2022 we have received a lot of opinions and requests on the balance of the game, where pass speed and defense operations are included. We would also like to acknowledge that ** there have been reports of problems that users have experienced ** with the cinematic scenes, facial expressions, player movements and ball behavior ”, they mention in the statement that you can see above.
“We are very sorry for these issues and want to assure you that we will take all these concerns seriously and strive to improve the current situation.” With this release, at least, we can have some hope of seeing an improved product in a short time. In addition, it should be remembered that this is the idea of this new model implemented in one of the most iconic soccer franchises, add updates of all kinds to go polishing everything that is necessary or, simply, add more content, and offer the best possible experience to your players.

In this way, they will be able to offer more variety to a title that today only counts with 9 clubs, 6 stadiums and solo and multiplayer modes, both locally and online. eFootball Is available in PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC, in November it is expected to reach mobile platforms.
Before we finish and go to see more memes than what is new about Konami, we leave here our first impressions of eFootball.
