Kneel down in front of the cable station, facing away from you. Grasp the bar with your palms forward, your grip shoulder-width apart. Lean back slightly and stick your chest out. Pull the bar toward your chest, then slowly return it to the starting position. Your legs, glutes and torso, must remain activated and without moving throughout the exercise.

Always pull the bar in front of you. The variant you pull behind your head can damage your rotator cuffs.
