Dragon Ball continues to be one of the memorabilia of designer Andrew Chiou, Nike’s art director. we have already seen on his Instagram account several sneaker concepts inspired by the work of Akira Toriyama, and we’ll be showing a couple more: Kid Trunks vs Future Trunks.
Trunks is a mix between a human and Saiyan, son of Bulma and Vegeta. He entered the Dragon Ball universe in the Androids and Cell Arc.
In the manga, he had his first appearance in chapter 337, while in the anime he appeared in episode 126 of Dragon Ball Z.
But Kid Trunks he is very different from Future Trunks. The first grew up in a peaceful and carefree world, as the friends of Dragon Ball Wiki Hispano explain it well; the second he is a total warrior. He did not know his father and has post-traumatic stress disorder.
This is the Nike Dunk Low Kid Trunks vs. Future Trunks by Andrew Chiou
Trunks, in any of his presentations, is one of the most prominent characters in Toriyama’s work, and Andrew Chiou pays homage to him in his Nike Kid Trunks vs. Future Trunks shoe concepts.
Chiou plays with the characteristic colors of both versions of Trunks: that of a child, with green, orange and brown colors, while that of the future, with blue, black and white, as well as a touch of orange.
The two sneaker presentations are Nike Dunk Low, as in almost all the concepts that Chiou launches on his Instagram account.
Let’s remember that, despite being Nike’s art director, these are just ideas that the Taiwanese artist embodies for his love of Dragon Ball and other animated series. We do not know if one day we will see them come true, but they do not stop generating good feelings among the fans.
the publication of the Kid Trunks vs Future Trunks sneakers has nearly 19,400 likes, receiving a ton of positive feedback, almost all of it waiting for the iterations to be released.
