Warner Bros. announced Kevin Conroy, the prolific voice actor who voiced Batman in dozens of English-language projects, has died at the age of 66 after losing his battle with cancer.
Kevin Conroy launched his career as the definitive voice of Gotham City’s vigilante with the critically acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series in 1992. He went on to play the character in almost 60 different productions spanning 15 animated films, 400 television episodes, and multiple video games, including the sagas batman arkham and injustice.

Conroy was born on November 30, 1955, in Westbury, New York. He studied acting at Julliard, along with such icons as Christopher Reeve and Robin Williams. He began his career in theater in the late 1970s, before making his debut on the small screen in the 1980s with roles in series such as dynasty, Tour of Duty Y OharaIn addition to soap operas Search for Tomorrow Y Another World.
