- Kevin Bacon got mad at an Argentine hamburger restaurant.
- It uses a photo of the actor as a logo and is called “Kevin Bacon Fast Good”.
- Bacon complained about the photo on the Jimmy Kimmel show and said he will talk to his lawyers.
The American actor Kevin Bacon learned in the middle of an interview that in Argentina there is a fast food chain that uses his name as a brand and a photo of him in the logo.
That’s right, in the middle of a note for American TV, the Hollywood star was surprised by the news and said that he will speak with his lawyers on the subject.
“I’m going to consult my lawyers,” Bacon said when the show’s host, the famed Jimmy Kimmel, showed him photos of “Kevin Bacon Fast Good” and images from a social media account of the same name.
“We are going to fix it, although I have to tell you that there are other restaurants that bear my name and from which I do not receive any money”added the actor.
“Not a good photograph of me. It looks like a clown’s face,” said the actor when the presenter showed him the photo that the hamburger chain uses in its logo.
Kevin Bacon Fast Good changed his name
After the program was broadcast in the United States and the video with Bacon’s threat went viral, the restaurant in Argentina changed the name on all accounts on social networks.
Now, instead of “Kevin Bacon Fast Good” there is KB. Fast Good.
They also changed the logo to a design with fries and hamburgers.
In addition to the Kevin Bacon Fast Good, the same Argentine firm owns the vegan hamburger chain “Vegan Fox”, which is a play on words based on the name of another American TV star, Megan Fox.
Paul Mac Carne by Paul McCartney
There are many other examples in Argentina of similar cases.
A few years ago “Paul Mac Carne” went viral, the name of a butcher shop that alludes to the former Beatle, Paul McCartney.
The musician learned of the existence of the trade in 2015 and shared a photo on social networks.
“A friend saw this on his vacation in Argentina. It’s very funny! With love, Paul.” English said on Instagram.
