McDonald’s surprises again with a sustainable Happy Meal. The chain continues to promote the transition and evolution of its children’s menu, adding 100% sustainable toy collections. In 2022, Arcos Dorados announced the transition to 100% sustainable toys in McDonald’s Happy Meals. The new Karma’s World collection is the new line of amazing environmentally friendly activities.
A new toy license for the Karma’s World line, an animated Netflix series about a 10-year-old girl, who raps, creates rhymes and reveals the immense power of words, was launched on Thursday, May 18.
This collection, developed in renewable, recycled and certified materials, seeks to encourage artistic creativity and empowerment in children with different playful activities, in an environment-friendly format.
Sustainable toys for all of Latin America
The company’s plan is to gradually incorporate this type of green collections and, as of 2026, ensure that 100% of the toys distributed in restaurants in Latin America are plastic-free. All with a view to promoting a better future.
With this and other environmental measures, the sustainability path “Recipe of the Future” de Arcos Dorados continues to grow, in its constant search to contribute to the planet and reduce the impact of the chain on the environment.
Happy Meal Books?
To encourage children’s creativity and in the quest to inspire boys and girls, McDonald’s included books in the Happy Meal for the first time in 2013. With the “Happy Meal Books” campaign today, in addition to toys, you can request one of the books from the inspiring collection “Little People, Big Dreams”, which Arcos Dorados has brought to Chile.
Since its inception, with this campaign, Arcos Dorados has delivered more than 20 million texts throughout Latin America.
