The Jujutsu Kaisen franchise has released an extraordinary new opening sequence. In fact, it will branch out soon, with not only a second season already in the works, but a number of other releases in the meantime. One of them, by the way, will be a new mobile game that will be released in Japan and this new material will introduce fans to a complex arc that will take place within the world of the series. This new arc will introduce some new key characters to the story, as well as bringing back the most beloved by fans seen in the first season of the series. And this series of good news for Jujutsu Kaisen has started in an explosive way among the audience.
The title of this installment is Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade, and will soon go on sale in Japan; meanwhile, fans have had the opportunity to take a closer look at the new game, which begins with a new opening sequence. Produced by Studio MAPPA, just like the first season of the series, and animated by some of the team members responsible for the series, this interesting opening brings EVE back for a new song titled “AVANT”, which not only takes a look at the characters to be introduced in the game, but also teases the most epic battles ahead for players. The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen
At the moment, the anime is almost on the verge of returning to public screens with a second season in the works. Much of the production details have been kept under wraps, however it has been confirmed that the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will be directed by MAPPA once again, with a return planned for the year 2023. As for the current release, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will soon be released in North American theaters starting on March 18 with English dubbed and subtitled versions. Crunchyroll and Funimation, the platforms in charge of its distribution, officially describe the new film in this way:
“When they were children, Rika Orimoto died in a traffic accident before the eyes of her close friend, Yuta Okkotsu. It’s a promise. When we both grow up, we’ll get married.” Rika became an apparition, and Yuta longed for his own death after suffer his curse, but the greatest Jujutsu sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, took him into the Jujutsu institute, where Yuta meets his classmates, Maki Zen’in, Toge Inumaki, and Panda, and finally finds his own resolve. have the confidence to say that it’s okay to be alive!’ ‘As long as I’m at the Jujutsu Institute, I’ll break Rika-chan’s curse.’
Meanwhile, the vile user of the curse, Suguru Geto, who was expelled from school for massacring ordinary people, appears before Yuta and the others. ‘This coming December 24, we will hold the Hundred Demons Night Parade.’ As Geto advocates creating a paradise for jujutsu sorcerers only, he unleashes a thousand curses on Shinjuku and Kyoto to exterminate all non-sorcerers.
