The artist’s nephew, who was the plaintiff, dropped his accusations of harassment against Ricky Martin in an appearance made before a court in Puerto Rico, this Thursday, for which the case was closed.

“As we had anticipated, the temporary protection order was not extended by the Court. The accusing person confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure, and the accuser confirmed that he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter,” it reads.
“The request of the accuser came asking for the case to be dismissed. This was never anything more than a troubled individual making false accusations with absolutely nothing to substantiate them. We are happy that our client saw that he got justice and now he can move on with his life and his career”.
The artist appeared virtually to discuss the demand of his nephew 21 years old. In early July, Martin received a restraining order in the case, however he issued a statement that He denies the accusations against him.
