The outcome of the legal battle between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp, after several appeals, ended the payment of 1 million dollars from the actress to the protagonist of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ for damages.
To the sum of money received, the actor decided to allocate it to five charities.
One of the recipients is the Make a Film Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 2006 by producer Tamika Lamison. The foundation, which will receive a sum of $200,000, has described Depp as “one of the most generous people” with whom he has worked, according to a representative told the portal. TMZ.

The Depp-Heard relationship after the trial
After the media trial held last year, the actor couple’s relationship is limited to exchanges of messages through their legal teams.
Heard went to live in Spain to get away from the pressure of the media and hopes to be in December promoting the movie ‘Aquaman 2’ in which he stars alongside Jason Momoa.
For his part, Depp, recently received an ovation at the Cannes Film Festival after the premiere of the film ‘Jeanne du Barry’.
In that event, he took the opportunity to highlight his separation with the press, by not giving statements as a form of protest against the treatment he received for the false accusations of his ex-partner.
The American actor has made it very clear to all his fans and reporters that he will focus on projects that interest him and contribute something significant to his professional career, therefore, he is not interested in the industry developed in Hollywood.
