Within the framework of the HBO Max presentation in Madrid, one day after its launch, the platform has announced ‘Poor devil’, his first animated series for adults produced in Spain.
Series co-created between Joaquín Reyes, Ernesto Sevilla and Miguel Esteban, with the first two writing and starring and the third as director. In addition, Helena Pozuelo is in charge of co-writing this series whose premiere is scheduled for 2022.
‘Poor Devil’ revolves around Stan, a normal boy and current except for being the Antichrist. At 665 months old, he has one left for the prophecy to come true and begin his duty to bring Armageddon. However, his great vocation is to be able to be a Broadway actor.
Joaquín Reyes plays Stan, while Ernesto Sevilla voices Mephisto, a hedonistic demonic cat addicted to drugs. In addition, in the cast of voices there are Ignatius farray like Satan; Gakian as Samael, a demon specialized in possessions, and Veronica Forqué like Rose.
The fiction will consist of eight episodes, animated by the Granada studio Rockyn Animation.
