Actor Jeremy Renner was airlifted to a hospital after suffering an accident while shoveling snow from his residence in Washoe County, 40 kilometers from Reno, Nevada. This was announced by a spokesperson for the actor who gives life to Hawkeye in the MCU to numerous media outlets in the United States.
According to initial reports, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office received a call early Sunday morning, January 1, about an accident at Jeremy Renner’s residence in the area of Nevada State Route 431.
“We can confirm that Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries sustained after experiencing an accident related to weather conditions while plowing snow today,” confirmed the representative of the Hollywood star (via). “His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”
The sheriff’s office accident investigation team is still investigating the circumstances of the incident.

“Upon arrival, officers coordinated with the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for the medical transport of Mr. Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital,” the officer explained. Sheriff’s Office of Public Information Kristin Vietti, to The Hollywood Reporter. “Mr. Renner was the only party involved.”
Local media indicate that the region was hit by a winter storm on New Year’s Eve. It caused 35,000 homes in Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey and Lyon counties in northern Nevada to lose power.
Jeremy Renner has two Oscar nominations for Best Actor for Scary zone (2008) and as Best Supporting Actor for Dangerous attraction (2010).
