• Elisenda Casellas assumes the position of Chief Operating Officer for Mexico.
• Both movements are due to the firm’s growth strategy.
In this regard, Burlingame pointed out that, in addition to his new regional functions and responsibilities, Mauricio joins the company’s C-Suite. “This appointment recognizes Mauricio’s leadership and his contribution to the growth of our business in a market as important to us as Mexico is, as well as his strategic vision and clear understanding of the keys to scaling our management models to advance in the innovation of our products and services. As CSO, Mauricio will have much to contribute to the continued growth and evolution of our business throughout the region.”
Mauricio joined JeffreyGroup in May 2013 in the position of Group Director and later, in February 2016, he assumed the general direction of the agency in the Mexican market. Under his leadership, JeffreyGroup has tripled its operation to become one of the leading consulting firms in Mexico in the fields of Corporate Communication, Reputation Management, Consumer Engagement, Social Impact and Brand Purpose, and Public Affairs.
In his new role, Mauricio Gutiérrez will have the responsibility of working on the analysis of trends and needs in the markets; design and scale the product offer as well as the management models; lead and coordinate strategic alliances; and deepen customer relationships.
“I am delighted with the idea of continuing to grow in a firm like JeffreyGroup. From my new position I will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic vision of our firm by placing our clients and our team at the heart of our activity”. This movement also results in the appointment of Elisenda Casellas as Chief Operating Officer of Mexico, who will continue to report to Mauricio Gutiérrez. “Elisenda is a professional with a successful track record with clients and team. Since her arrival at our company in 2020, she has worked hand in hand with Mauricio in business development and the consolidation of the highly specialized team and services. His talent and commitment will be key to continuing the growth of our operation in Mexico”, concluded Brian Burlingame, CEO of JeffreyGroup.
