Around the gastronomic world, countries like Italy, Mexico or Japan are among the most recognized, so much so that they occupy the first places in popularity for their representative dishes, being tacos, Pizza and the sushi worthy references of each of the nations, although on many occasions the traditional process is not respected and several “nationalized” versions are created, as pointed out by a Japanese chef who has reacted to “Mexican sushi”.
Worldwide, gastronomy is one of the main motivators of tourism, both nationally and internationally, so much so that this sector, together with experience tourism, contributes to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) just over 4 percent, generating in turn just over 4 million direct jobs and millions indirectthis in accordance with what was indicated by the Ministry of Tourism.
Gastronomy worldwide has such an impact that, according to the ranking of Testatlas, Mexico ranked number 5 worldwide during 2021, now it is in position seven, being one of the 10 countries recognized for its excellent cuisine, where the ownership is occupied by Italy, followed by Greece, Spain, Romania, France and Japan.

Undoubtedly, modernity offers access to a bit of the culture of other countries without the need to leave the place of residence, since sometimes certain licenses are discussed in gastronomy issues, “nationalizing” various iconic dishes from each country, as pointed out by a Japanese chef.

As pointed out by the chef, famous for criticizing “nationalized” culinary creations, the process of creating a sushi roll is complicated, so being able to do it, integrating a large number of elements and without containing algae, is a difficult task, so the chef recognizes to the mexican chef and adds: “you offend me a lot, but you know what you are doing”.
The one that seeks to nationalize various dishes is a tradition in the kitchens of each country, an example of this are the tacos that are sold within networks of large chains outside of Mexico, such as Taco Bellwhich are far from the traditional ones that can be found in every corner of the national territory.
