James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad, is a person open to answering all the doubts that the public has about the film industry. This also means that your opinion will not always be favourable, and this is something he made clear when explaining why the movies are getting worse and worse.
Through his official Twitter account, Gunn was questioned by a fan about why a composer is not hired before the release. In his answer, the director not only clarified this doubt, it also exposed a serious problem with the way movies are made today. This was what he commented on it:
“If you saw how disorganized most productions are and how unfinished most big movie scripts are when they start shooting, you would see why this is usually [la contratación de compositores musicales antes del proceso de edición] It is not an option. This [desorganización] It is the number one reason for the deterioration of the quality of feature films, in my opinion.”
I’m not sure “relaxing” & “directing” are congruous terms, but as I’ve grown I’ve gained more & more people around me I trust – like my 1st AD @LarsWinther4 & my costume designer Judianna Makovsky. To various degrees I delegate to people I trust while also overseeing & guiding. https://t.co/8h1qFlnMNy

By having hundreds of projects at any given time, and dealing with various changes of all kinds constantly, production houses do not always have their plans in order. This is something that we can even see in Warner Bros., who after the merger with Discovery, have begun to reorganize to counteract these problems.
On related topics, here’s what’s going on with Rian Johnson’s Star Wars trilogy. Similarly, this is what Ezra Miller looks like in his next film.
Editor’s note:
A movie can be bad due to various factors, such as editing, actors, script, etc. However, it is true that poor organization results in a project that is not very worthwhile, although this is not always a guarantee.
