In 2020, INEGI Information reveals that, in Mexico, there were just over 80 million users connected to the Internet.
In 2022, according to official figures, it was estimated that approximately 98.6 million people in Mexico had access to the Internet.
OnlyFans is, today, one of the most important content platforms for the great legion of content creators around the world.
OnlyFans users on Twitter have accused some accounts they subscribe to of “misleading advertising” after not seeing new content “for weeks.”
Social networks are, ultimately, the space where everything happens; conversations that, over time, can generate a kind of snowball that is sometimes uncontrollable.
Since its inception, to mention one example, Twitter has consolidated itself as the platform where millions of Internet users give their opinion on everything that happens globally; a discussion forum that, however, has been subject to controversy.
Taking up the data published by We Are Social and Hootsuite In its most recent Digital 2021 report, the number of internet users in the world reached four thousand 950 million peoplewhich represents 62.5 percent of the world population (7.910 million people).
Similarly, the study details that, currently, Internet users spend around 6 hours and 54 minutes connected to social networks, regardless of whether they are on a computer or any mobile device.
Under this framework, Twitter, since its founding in 2006, has managed to bring together a community of more than 400 million active users so fareven though, according to official data, there are more than a billion accounts registered.
Is there misleading advertising on OnlyFans? This says the Prophecy
The Covid-19 was the kick that various platforms needed to expand in the way they did and, with it, open the way to a new era in which the digital scenario was one of the main ones for a global community more advanced to these kinds of practices.
OnlyFans, of course, is not left out of this sentence, quite the contrary: it is a space that meant life for entrepreneurs and content creators in one of the most critical moments of human existence.
In Mexico, to put it in context, data from Statista Key Market Indicators reveal that, in 2022, it was estimated that approximately 98.6 million people had access to the Internet, which represents an increase of around 16 million compared to the number of registered users in 2021.
So, in the midst of this scenario, it is clear that content platforms represent, today, an important niche to generate income.
Now, recently, on Twitter, various OnlyFans users have begun to accuse various creators of “misleading advertising”. The reason? According to what they publish, these accounts have not uploaded content “for weeks”, despite the fact that said Internet users pay their subscription monthly.
Hears @profeco Can a friend file a complaint with you? I pay the registration to an Only fans and the aforementioned has not uploaded content for weeks. Is it classified as theft, fraud or is it just an asshole for paying to see crap?
Ready @Cubreconchasthey will reply to you soon.

Given this, it is worth noting what the Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (Profeco) says, a response that it sent to one of the users who have complained against the creators who do not upload new content.
Dear user, remember that the provider must have a business name and tax domicile in Mexico, as well as provide you with information related to cancellation, return, refund and exchange policies in order to make a complaint or complaint effective.
