Moon Knight producer has spoken about whether he will be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Marvel movies and series have constituted a cinematographic world that almost no other saga has managed to maintain over the years. Unless we are talking about legendary series like Star Wars, Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings. Every time Marvel publishes a series or a movie, it is related to the general plot that they have constituted, even if it is with a simple cameo, Moon Knight does not seem to be the case.
The producer of the series, Grant Curtis, has released a Press release in which he has denied that Moon Knight is going to share life with the former companions of Ironman or Captain America.
“There’s not going to be any connection to the MCU. Moon Knight is something new and an entirely new brand is going to be created for him. Still, fans will really enjoy the character and how we’ve created this new universe.”
This movement is something strange within Marvel because of how it has worked for the last 10 years. The experience that they sell you when watching a movie or a series is that the average fan gets hooked on them and that way you can see all their products to understand the smallest detail that happens in the eighth chapter of the series, for example .
Although you also have to understand that in the comics not everything is related. There are series that have nothing to do with each other and that do not even share the same universe.
Grant Curtis has said that he doesn’t really belong to the same moment in time as Ironman but he hasn’t exactly said that they aren’t in the same universe. On March 30 we will be able to enjoy this new Marvel series on Disney+.
