apple just released iOS 16.2the latest software update for iPhone that brings several new features, including Apple Music Sing and Apple Advanced Protection.
In the case of Music Sing, lets you adjust the volume of the vocals so you can sing along to your favorite songswhile Advanced Protection is a privacy feature that adds end-to-end encryption for various iCloud componentsincluding backing up text messages, photos, notes, and more.
According to the report published on the website of CNETiOS 16.2 also adds the whiteboard app free formtwo new lock screen widgets, including one for medications, improvements to always-on display, new AirDrop settings, and sports scores for live activities on Apple TV.
This update is compatible from iPhone 8 onwards and includes the X, the 11, the second generation SE and above, and of course the new iPhone 14 series.
How to update your iPhone and some recommendations
The first thing you should do is backup your iPhone before updating to iOS version 16.2. By default, your device should back up every time you connect to power and Wi-Fi during your normal sleeping hours.
If this backup feature is disabled, you can go to Settings > Your Name > iCloud > iCloud Backup, and then tap Back Up.
Other usual recommendations are that the iPhone is connected to the current, be connected to Wi-Fi and have enough space.
To download iOS 16.2, just go to Setting > General > Software updatewait a few seconds for the update to appear, and then tap download and install.
