According to figures from the Mexican government, 700,000 people are transported daily on the Mexico-Toluca highway. It is estimated that 200 thousand travel by the Interurban Train from 2024.
For his part, Sheinbaum reported that the last stage of the mega-project will be the construction of the terminal in Mexico City, which will be located in Observatorio. From there, travelers can transfer to Line 1 of the Metro to enter the capital.
