Instagram has a new update ready with which, according to what has been reported, it seeks to give a new twist to Stories thanks to a function that could even be very useful for content creators.
In the wide universe of social networks, the slogan seems to be “renew or die” and in the case of Instagram this initiative has gained even greater meaning after TikTok has become one of the most popular and used social networks in the world. market..
As of today, it is known that the social network owned by Meta adds the number of 1.2 billion users worldwide, a figure that places it, as we have already mentioned, below TikTok, the latter with an accumulation of 1.7 billion monthly users.
However, in Mexico, Instagram does have a greater acceptance among Internet users, since, according to information from We Are Social, Data Report, Meltwater, GWI79.4 of Mexicans use the screen of the Meta social network, being the fourth most used social network in the country.
In the midst of this scenario, it is worth mentioning an analysis of data reportwhich reveals that 78.3 percent of the Mexican population currently has access to social networks, a figure that represents 102.5 million of people in Mexico who make use of the various platforms of social media.
That said, it is clear that the future looks even better for the social media market, especially if we consider that the world will continue to grow in terms of digitization.
Instagram seeks to give its Stories a twist with this new feature
As is already known, Social networks, for years, have become platforms not only for interaction, but for content of all kindsadapting to this new era in which creators are the ones who dominate brand strategies in order to reach a greater number of consumers.

Instagram knows this and, now, it has an update ready with which it is looking to give a new meaning to its Stories, all this, through a new feature called “Shared story”, which will reportedly allow users to post Stories shared with other users on the platform and they will be published in a similar way to Instagram Collabs.
It is a tool similar to what Snapchat presented in May of last year, which allows you to expand the reach of publications and the size of the community.
For the community of creators, it can be an interesting tool, thinking that currently, collaborations are very useful to connect with different audiences.
