Post-launch support halo-infinite has been the subject of significant controversy for fans of the franchise. Halo Infinite was billed as a “10 year old” product, so expectations were comparable to other video games as a service, such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, and League of Legends.
Expectations, understandably, have not been met. An area of special interest was the DLC of the campaignwhich expanded the history of halo-infinite. Although no official announcement has been made in this regard, a leaker claims to have good news about the future Halo Infinite campaign DLC.
YouTuber, Sean W, has shared a video in which he claims that an anonymous source has shared a surprising amount of details about the future DLC of the campaign. halo-infinite. To begin with, the leaker says that the DLC of the campaign is running. However, development may not be progressing as Halo fans expect. Development may not have progressed as 343 had previously planned.
According to the leaker, 343 Industries is working on story DLC for Halo Infinite, but the decision is surprisingly recent. Although no time frame has been specified, the leaker claims that there was a time when 343 was not working on the story DLC for halo-infinite. Although this has changed, it is obvious that the development of the story DLC is going to take a considerable time. Leaker Says It’s Likely Until 2025, Or Later.
The filter also shared some details about Halo Infinite’s campaign DLC. He says the campaign DLC will be as big as what’s currently available in Halo Infinite, so it’s very substantial. The campaign will focus on battling the Endless in what is described as a “varied world.” A brand leak in late 2021 hinted that 343 was working on something related to the Endless, though it’s unclear if the two leaks are related.
Obviously, there is no way of knowing if Sean W’s leak is reliable or not. All this leak could be invented and it could be years before there is official information to confirm it. However, there is nothing about her that is necessarily suspicious. And it’s quite possible that this has always been 343’s plan, to launch a DLC of campaign sizable when it could have otherwise launched a sequel.
Considering the state of halo-infiniteit is quite possible that the 343 and Xbox plans will change for 2025. Perhaps the DLC it could become a standalone game or sequel to Halo Infinite, or perhaps plans could change for Halo in a more dramatic way.
Right now, it’s hard to make any assumptions about the future of Halo, but fans are hopeful that 343 still plans to deliver campaign DLC sometime soon.
