- The Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital No. 4 is listed as one of the best in Mexico City.
Digital prestige has become a fundamental element in today’s world. The opinion expressed in social networks has great power and can achieve high-impact changes. They have also become forums where complaints can be made to spread a specific problem. Such is the case of an influencer who filed a complaint about the service that the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) has denied her.
In this sense, one of the achievements that the director of the institution, Zoé Robledo, frequently presumes is that All beneficiaries receive the service in a timely manner. Despite the inconveniences caused by the pandemic, he assures that all services have already been restored.
In fact, in some of the hospitals with the greatest capacity, the Surgical Sessions. In this way, during a specific day all pending surgeries that were scheduled for months are performed.
Report of the case that occurred
However, the opinion of the rights holders is not the same as that of the authorities. A specific case is that of the influencer Joanna Pirod, who published a complaint against the IMSS. Through Twitter he released a letter in which he describes that for more than a month he has been denied a service that he needs for his own integrity.
Based on the document, on April 25, he went to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital No. 4 of Mexico City. The goal was to have a hysterectomy scheduled for her. As part of her protocol, she underwent a Covid-19 test that came out positive and for the same reason she was returned to her home to remain isolated.
The broadcaster and creator of digital content mentions that the test they did to her inside the IMSS facilities was “improvised and poorly carried out.” She therefore decided to go to a private laboratory and pay to receive a second verdict. In this case she came out negative.
In the letter, she mentions that she found it suspicious that she was rejected by the IMSS. In fact, she affirms that because it was Easter there were few medical personnel and perhaps that was the reason why they did not want to see her despite having an appointment scheduled.
Good morning community.
Would you help me by RTing this letter or tagging @zoerobledo and to @Your_IMSS to see if they finally attend to my case? The IMSS is a service that we workers pay for and therefore we have the right to be treated with dignity. #IMSS pic.twitter.com/nHCvyO1DIK— Joanna Pirod💥 (@JoannaPirod) May 10, 2022
In any case, the influencer denounces that the week has passed since the IMSS told her that she had to remain isolated. The problem is that after this type of treatment, the hospital authorities still do not attend to her and have not given her a possible date to receive the service.
For all of the above, he wrote what happened and published the letter on his social networks. He respectfully asks the authorities to receive the hysterectomy that he urgently needs. This is an operation that cannot wait any longer.
IMSS responds immediately
His letter immediately gained visibility and hundreds of users have shared it. Its impact has been so great that even the IMSS has already responded to the call with a comment: “Good morning, your request is very important to the Mexican Institute of Social Security, we will contact you shortly.”
In this way, the power of social networks is reaffirmed. Now the only thing left is to verify if the operation you need is actually performed as soon as possible.
