A day for history in Deportivo Pereira. The Colombian team, debuting in this edition of the Libertadores Cup 2023has qualified for the quarterfinals of the tournament after leaving behind one of the most powerful clubs on the continent, Valley Independent. After having won the first leg 1-0, at the Atahualpa de Quito they managed to tie 1-1 and obtained the long-awaited qualification for the next round of the tournament. Angulo’s goal at 50 minutes will go down in history. In the next round he will face the winner of Palmeiras vs. Atlético Mineiro.
