The new expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online, called High Isle, is about to arrive at the MMO from Zenimax Online Studios and Bethesda along with the long-awaited translation into Spanish on consoles. It will do so on June 21 and, for sure, it will mean the arrival of many new players to the action role play. That is why today we want to tell you What era does The Elder Scrolls Online take place in?, as well as give you a glimpse of what’s going on in their world when you start your adventure. If you’re passionate about The Elder Scrolls universe and don’t want to jump into this adventure blindly, this is for you. Let’s go there.
The Elder Scrolls Online takes us to the continent of tamriel (where there are places that you will already know like Skyrim) and it does so during the Second Era, which means that it takes place a millennium before the events of Skyrim and about 800 years before those of Morrowind and Oblivion. When starting the game we will see how there are two conflicts independent of each other that are happening simultaneously, as was the case in Skyrim with the civil war between Stormcloaks and Empire and with the return of the dragons on the other hand. Something similar happens in The Elder Scrolls Online: one conflict is about the fate of world balance, while the other is about who holds the ultimate power in Tamriel.
5 Xbox Game Pass games to liven up the wait for Starfield
In the first, the great protagonist is the Daedric Prince Molag Bal, who tries to merge the plane of Mundus with his kingdom of Coldharbour. The second tells us about the vacancy that exists on the throne of the Empire and the fierce struggle for him by three races. Our character, of course, will be at the center of these two conflicts and will play a fundamental role in each of them. Remember that the Spanish translation and the High Isle expansion come to The Elder Scrolls Online on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on June 21 and that, in addition, the game is included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription.
